CBN.com It’s a kid’s paradise! Living Stones Church in Alvin, Texas, makes their summer camp an experience that kids will never forget.

With everything from go-carts and swimming to paddleboats and zip lines, Victory Camp provides something for everyone, including those with special needs.

Champion Kids Camp is for those who have survived accidents, illnesses, and personal loss. It gives them a place where they can connect with other kids. Director of Champion Kids, Bill Nash, says the camp makes a lasting impression on the children.

“They go home and their parents say, ‘They’re so positive now. They believe they can do anything, and [there's a] change in schoolwork,’” says Bill. “It’s just amazing.”

Victory Camp also provides a one-day camp for the forgotten angels, a program for people with mental disabilities and physically handicaps.

Pastor Al Jandl says he started the summer camp because of a need he saw in the community.

“Eleven years ago we started this camp because we saw a need in our particular city that kids didn’t have a place to go,” Pastor Al says. “So we started the camp. We started with that swimming pool. We’ve added a train, and we keep adding things.”

In the midst of all the fun and excitement here, camp leaders make no mistake about it -- their focus is to see kids come to know the Lord.

Kevin Kinchen, Camp Director, says, “What I tell our people is that if they can be happy on the waterslide, if they can be happy on the go-karts, if they can have good food, then when they get into that service that night, they’re happy. Their hearts are open. Their spirits are open, and they are ready to receive from the Lord. We see hundreds of kids come to the Lord here at Victory Camp.”

For touching thousands of kids' lives every year The 700 Club salutes you, Living Stones Church in Alvin, Texas.
